Osprey Cottage and Osprey Nest are our luxury self catering accommodation, nestled in the heart of Grasmere village , which is well known for it's links to the poet William Wordsworth. The village is an ideal tourist destination in the centre of the English Lake District and takes its name from the adjacent lake.  


A superb attraction is being able to walk straight out from your accommodation onto the surrounding hills and fells to enjoy the spectacular scenery, there is a good selection of maps and walking guides for your perusal and use during your stay..

For the non walkers, there is a wealth of attractions and interests in Grasmere and the surrounding villages, from, William Wordsworth's Dove Cottage, Allen Bank which is perfect if you would like to see Red Squirrels and with a short drive to Ambleside (4 miles), you can take a boat trip on Lake Windermere. Just a few suggestions!!

Grasmere offers some excellent eating out from Forest Side, which is a lovely Michelin star restaurant, to the quirky Jumble Rooms or Lewis's Bistro - lots to choose from.

Osprey Cottage offers spacious, stylish luxury two bedroom accommodation, both having ensuite bathrooms, a superb breakfast kitchen and also has the added benefit of parking for two cars, one being in a garage with electric up and over door and the other a parking space in front of the garage and a lovely sunny garden looking up onto the surrounding fells

Osprey Nest is a self contained open plan spacious apartment, which has a king-sized bed, living area and kitchen, accessed via steps up onto a sunny patio area, which has fabulous views in all directions to the spectacular fells surrounding Grasmere.  It has parking for one car.
